  • How to Connect USB Storage Devices to Your Android Phone

    Connecting USB flash storage to your Android phone is easy and cheap. Here's what you'll need:

    1.A USB OTG cable

    To check that your mobile Supports OTG, download OTG  app from the below link and check it

    2.A USB flash storage device

    This one is largely up to you. Any storage with a USB connector will work as long as it's formatted as FAT32.

    How to Connect with a USB OTG cable

    1. Connect a flash drive (or SD reader with card) to the full-size USB female end of the adapter.

    Your USB drive plugs into the OTG cable first.


    2. Connect OTG cable to your phone

    Connect your USB OTG cable's microUSB end to your Android phone.

    3. Swipe down from the top to show the notification drawer. No need to do this if your file manager automatically appears.

    4. Tap USB Drive.

    You can now browse the files on the flash drive and copy them to the phone storage. If you want to copy from the phone storage to the flash drive, follow steps 5 to 9.

    5. Tap Internal Storage to view the files on your phone.

    6. Find the file you'd like to share. Hold down on it to select.

    7. Tap the three dots button.

    8. Select Copy.

    9. Navigate to your USB drive and tap Done to copy the file.

    Once the transfer process completes, unplug the flash drive and connect it to your PC.

  • Google Drive as a Backup Option

    Saving/Backing up to Google Drive

    This is the quick way to do a one time backup of your files to Google Drive. It is not going to back up your programs. This will just store a copy of your files that you want to have a copy of saved elsewhere. (NOTE: If you prefer to constantly have your files backed up to Google Drive automatically, install Google Drive on your computer and start saving all of your content into the folder it adds to your computer. This will give you a copy on your computer and an exact duplicate on Drive.)

    Easiest Method:

    1. Go to http://drive.google.com
    2. If you are not logged in already, log into your school account.
    3. Click on New 
    4. Click on Folder Upload
    5. Select the folder you want uploaded (Documents, Pictures, Music)
    6. You can only upload one folder at a time. Whatever is in that folder will upload.
    7. Click Upload (progress meter is in bottom right corner)
    8. Repeat for additional files/folders.

    If you want to upload everything at once:

    1. Create a new folder on your desktop with an easy to remember name like the current date (Control click on the desktop and select New Folder)
    2. Put all of the folders and files you want to save into that folder (Documents, Photos, Music, etc)
    3. Go to http://drive.google.com
    4. If you are not logged in already, log into your school account.
    5. Click on New 
    6. Click on Folder Upload
    7. Select the folder you want uploaded
    8. Click Upload (progress meter is in bottom right corner)

  • Best and easy tricks to unlock android mobile

    Trick #1. Unlock Pattern Lock via Factory Reset

    This is the simplest trick to unlock locked Android device. However, the risk here is this method deletes all the data which are saved in phone memory. If you are willing to go for this here are the steps to be followed-

    Step 1. Switch off your Android handset and wait for some time.

    Step 2. Now Press '+' volume button and power button at the same time.

    Step 3. It will open your Android device in Recovery mode. Now select Factory Reset button from the menu.

    Step 4. Next when you get a list of options, tap on the 'Wipe Cache Partition To Clean Data'.

    Trick #2. Unlock Password Using ADM

    If you are wondering what is ADM, it is nothing but Android Device Manager. You can easily unlock your mobile using this from any desktop or laptop. Here's what you have to do-

    Step 1. Go to Android device manager site.

    Step 2. Sign in to your google account.

    Step 3. Now click on 'Lock' option.

    Step 4. Enter a new Password and confirm your new password.

    Step 5. Now reboot your locked phone and enter the newly set password. Voila! You've unlocked your phone successfully!



     

    Trick #3. Bypassing the Pattern Lock

    This trick only works when you have an active data connection in your locked mobile.

    Step 1. draw the wrong pattern lock 5 times.

    Step 2. It'll show a notification and where it says 'Try Again in 30 Seconds'.

    Step 3. Now, It will show an option 'Forgot Password'. Tap on it.

    Step 4. At last, enter your Gmail address and password which you've used on the locked device and setup a new pattern lock.

  • How to Adjust Your PC’s Screen Brightness, Manually and Automatically
